Can a Scammer Be Scammed? These Scammers Met Their Match When They Tried to Rip These People Off

Have you ever received a spam text that makes you want to grab the scammer and teach them a lesson? Well, these people also got such texts from scammers- but they didn’t just hiss at the texts. These badass people engaged the scammers and made them regret texting them in the first place. Here are five scenarios where people served justice by scamming their scammers.

‘I can’t hear you?…you want more?’

For many people, the most annoying thing is getting unsolicited messages. It frustrates people that these scammers always have a way to get stupid messages across to their phones.

This frustration is probably what motivated this person to harass their harasser with facts that they didn’t need. The fact that the scammer texted ‘please’ must have given this person lots of satisfaction.

Weren’t we all playing dumb together?

Scammers use different tactics to make their ‘scam’ seem believable. Some of these strategies are see-through, while others are pretty believable. Well, this person definitely saw through this one.

This person’s response was a major hit! They didn’t particularly call the scammer out with their response, but they still passed a subtle message to the scammer. The scammer’s response showed that the blow was successfully delivered.

Teaching scammers to be more specific

One of the excuses scammers often use after successfully ripping people off is, ‘That wasn’t what I offered; you misunderstood.’ So, it only makes sense that this person gave this scammer a taste of their poison.

The scammer must have felt some hope when this person asked, ‘Of what?’ Little did they know the person was about to make a ridiculous request. We’re a bit surprised the scammer didn’t have anything more to say.

‘I’m not fake, you’re fake!’

While some people ‘punish’ their scammers by calling them out, others play along and assume the position of the scammer. The type of punishment delivered by this person belongs to the second category.

Instead of answering ‘no’ as an average person would, this person claimed to be the dentist that the scammer was supposedly looking for. The part where the scammer called the ‘dentist’ fake makes us laugh at their frustration.

Putting the scam into one’s hands

People who subtly call scammers out aren’t as savage as people who totally take control of the ‘scam’ situation. This person gave their scammer a ‘penalty’ that was a carbon copy of their ‘offense’.

What we find funny is that the scammer also played along. Instead of taking the shameful route of reacting aggressively like a typical scammer, they decided to play the role of a soon-to-be scam victim.
