We often look up to celebrities, especially on-screen stars, for innovative fashion ideas and styles. Hollywood stars popularized many fashion trends. However, these celebrities sometimes go too far in their attempts to be creative- and the results are often hilarious. There are some celebrity red carpet fails that we just can’t forget. Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish is a stylish celebrity; aside from her impeccable musical talents, we often spot her rocking incredible outfits. That’s probably why we can’t forget the feeling of disappointment when we saw her 2022 Oscar outfit.
Her black gown looked like it would drown her; well, it did, figuratively. From the off-the-shoulder layered ruffled silhouette to the large ruffled train, the dress is nothing short of a mistake. We wonder what her designer had in mind for making the dress.
Linda Cardellini
Before the 2019 awards, Linda Cardellini had always been known to look almost unremarkable. While she didn’t wear boring outfits, she didn’t usually stand out either. Well, she stood out in 2019- and it was bad.
The celebrity’s dress is the definition of an angry dress(if there’s anything like that). Our best guess is that someone dared or encouraged her to wear the loudest dress possible. The dress seemed to swallow Linda whole.
Andra Day
Speaking of standing out, Andra Day is another singer that gained the attention of almost everybody- in a bad way. In plain words, her 2018 Oscar outfit was unpleasantly extra; it was a combination that we couldn’t make any sense of.
Her floral-print outfit looked like a common pantsuit, with the weird seam placements making us wonder what to call the dress. It wasn’t an Oscar-worthy dress. She should have worn a regular flowing dress.
Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson can never forget the 2007 Oscars, not just because she got an award but because her outfit was a miss. While her makeup looked glamorous and Oscar-worthy, her Oscar dress was totally unflattering at best.
She wore a brown Oscar de la Renta dress with a gold bolero. The dress was said to be the idea of Andre Leon Talley, a Vogue editor’s idea. The dress just didn’t add anything to the actress and singer’s look.
Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart isn’t one to make a fashion misstep, but we can’t let her unflattering outfit for the 2022 Oscars go. While we love the fact that it was a bold choice, we wish she had gone with the crowd just once.
Kristen wore tiny shorts with a matching Chanel suit jacket. However, the look wasn’t as dope as we had hoped. Although she was nominated for Best Actress, her look wasn’t a Best Dressed appearance.
